Position Overview
The Marketing Associate supports the Sales & Marketing department by coordinating brand awareness initiatives, maintaining and enhancing JITECH's digital presence, and producing marketing materials used in presale and outreach activities for structural steel detailing and engineering services. This role is responsible for executing marketing efforts that strengthen the company's industry visibility, ensure consistent branding across all communication channels, and contribute to overall business growth.
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Marketing Associate works closely with the Business Development Representative to ensure marketing content accurately and effectively represents JITECH's services and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Content Production
- Produce and edit visual marketing content for digital and print channels used in marketing campaigns, outreach initiatives, and the company's online presence.
- Prepare graphics, layouts, and designs for proposals, client presentations, and promotional communications.
- Support and contribute to the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and promotional assets.
- Ensure all produced content aligns with company branding and visual standards.
Digital Platforms and Website Management
- Manage website updates and digital content to ensure accuracy, freshness, and alignment with company branding.
- Maintain organized digital content libraries and ensure marketing materials remain accessible and up-to-date.
- Support and implement improvements to digital content organization and presentation.
- Publish project highlights, company updates, and service information on digital platforms.
CRM and Campaign Operations
- Support outbound marketing initiatives including email campaigns and targeted communications.
- Maintain and update client and prospect information within the CRM system.
- Track outreach activities and maintain organized campaign records.
- Prepare campaign contact lists and outreach materials.
Additional Support
- Provide administrative support to other departments as needed (e.g., assisting with internal communications, event materials, or ad-hoc requests to ensure company-wide consistency and efficiency).
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; recent graduates with strong internships, personal projects, or freelance work encouraged to apply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong attention to detail for proofreading and brand consistency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating presentations, proposals, tracking campaigns, and organizing materials.
- Intermediate graphic design skills, with proficiency in tools such as Canva and familiarity/experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for producing visuals, layouts, and marketing assets (Adobe experience strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) or website platforms for updating and maintaining digital content; ability to learn quickly if needed.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records (e.g., in digital libraries or campaign tracking).
- Basic to intermediate understanding of email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp or similar) or CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce); willingness and ability to quickly advance proficiency for supporting campaigns and client/prospect management.
- Strong interest in learning new marketing tools, technologies, and best practices.
